Contextual backlinks sit within the body of an article, surrounded by text related to your topic. The surrounding context reinforces what your linked page is about.
Search engines interpret links alongside their textual environment, which is why in-content placements consistently outperform sidebar, footer or profile links of the same domain quality.

- Prioritize contextual links for pages you want to rank for specific topics
- Anchor text should read naturally in the surrounding sentence

DoFollow Backlinks
DoFollow is the default link attribute: it allows the link to pass equity to the target page. NoFollow links have other uses — traffic, diversity, branding — but for authority building, DoFollow placements are the core.
We verify the attribute of every link in DoFollow packages at delivery time and include it in the report, so the deliverable is checkable rather than assumed.

- A healthy profile still contains some NoFollow links — total purity looks unnatural
