How Long Does Link Building Take to Show Results?

People ask 'how long does it take' and mean three different things. Delivery: when the links exist. Discovery: when Google crawls and indexes them. Impact: when rankings move. Each has its own timeline.

Delivery depends on the package — volume layers take 2–10 days, editorial placements 5–30 days, DA 70+ negotiations longer still. Every package page on this site states its window, and that window starts when requirements are confirmed.

Links placed on frequently crawled sites get discovered within days. Links on quiet sites can take weeks. This is why niche edits into already-indexed articles often show up in tools faster than fresh guest posts.

If a placement isn't indexed after two or three weeks, that's worth flagging — a good provider will check and replace it rather than shrug.
